This quaint 120 year old historic cottage has been tastefully restored and is a perfect place to stay, relax and enjoy beautiful Central Otago! The cottage features a new fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Great indoor outdoor flow to a private courtyard ideal for alfresco dining in the amazing Central Otago climate. Our guests consistently note they wished they booked longer.
The lounge is a cosy, relaxing room ideal for those cooler evenings - heated by a pot belly stove and a heat pump - with home comforts of TV, stereo and small library. Free WiFi and is pet friendly.
Plumtree cottage is within walking distance to sporting facilities such as the Dunstan Golf Course, Central Otago walking and cycling trails, Tennis and Bowling Clubs. The renowned Clutha River is only a short stroll for an evening fish.
The local cafes, boutique cinema, speciality shops and the local grocery shop. Paulina's bar and Pizzeria, The Post Office, Oliver's restaurant, bar and cafe are among the cafes and restaurants within 5 to 10 min walk from your front door. Within a short driving or cycling there are amazing world renowned vineyards and orchards.
